Cloud Computing Models and Services

Such components as SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, and IDaaS are essential for any Cloud computing system because they make it easier for users to access important files, regardless of his or her location. The following work will present and cover particular functions and working methods of these services. In turn, this research will show their correlation to one another and the services’ ability or inability to support the cloud computing system in case of their absence.

SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, and IDaas

SaaS (Software as a Service) is an instrumental program that is used for completing certain operations under the user’s control. Furthermore, its applications are intended to be intuitive for any user (“Understanding the cloud computing stack: SaaS, PaaS, IaaS,” 2016). PaaS (Platform as a Service) is a Cloud computing model that provides its user with access to the required information-technology platform. IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) is used by applications to deliver such cloud computing infrastructure as operating systems, servers, network, and storage. IDaaS (Identification as a Service) is used to protect user‘s data from being hacked and to identify his or her personality for instant access.

The Services’ Relation to One Another

SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, and IDaas can work together as part of any Cloud solution. They complement one another by giving their user an ability to use his or her files or services with the help of the Cloud computing system, which includes all of the aforementioned components in its operating processes (Colman, 2015). Each of them is intended to protect, save, and deliver the data requested by a person. There are certain situations when these components might detract from one another. For instance, a new application might disregard the use of IDaaS, which will increase a probability of an external intervention to its system.

Conclusion

SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, and IDaaS improve the quality of any Cloud computing system. Despite their importance, such components might be disregarded by any application’s developer. Such approach to the Cloud solution will have a negative impact on the quality of the processes that will be delivered to its users later.
