“All of Us” Research Program

Introduction

The program is aimed at collecting health data on the nationwide level. “All of Us Research” targets several factors that are believed to affect people’s well-being, namely, lifestyle, environment, and biological characteristics. The specified endeavor will help to address major public health issues and educate both patients and health providers. Moreover, the data gathered during the program implementation will serve to accelerate research and resolve some of the health issues that continue to pose a threat to vulnerable groups nowadays.

Purpose and Goals

The goal of “All of Us Research” is to create opportunities for using precision medicine as the means of addressing currently unmanageable health issues and improving the well-being and quality of life of the U.S. population. The study seeks to achieve the specified goal by collecting information with the help of surveys and the analysis of the available medical records.

Community Needs

The “All of Us Research” program will allow addressing community needs on a public level, allowing to resolve the issues that have been affecting communities for decades. Namely, the results of the analysis will inform the health management policies that people will have to follow in order to prevent the threat of contracting a disease from occurring (Sankar & Parker, 2017). Moreover, the identification of specific vulnerabilities that make the community in question open to health issues will be analyzed with the help of the described program.

Security and Data Collection

The key information will be collected with the help of surveys and the analysis of the medical health records of community members. Thus, key trends in the management of health issues in the target environment will be identified. The located data will help to establish the standards for effective management of health issues. In turn, the security of patients will be facilitated by the reinforced digital data protection system. Thus, the probability of patients’ personal data being stolen will no longer be feasible.
