Your article on the Investigation of HIV/AIDS prevention program targeted to a unique population group in Bangkok makes an important contribution to resolving the common problem of sexually transmitted diseases. (Svenkerud, 1998) Thai department of health statistics indicated that the overall number of HIV infected is more than 800 000 people.
Data collection steps, as well as outlining the frameworks of the research will not add effectiveness to the problem-solving process, however, world leaders, as well as government, and contraceptive manufacturers should pay attention to the problem and realize that a healthy population will be the basis of the global economic development, as well as the increased income levels for manufacturers. Therefore, theoretic aspects of the research will be useless unless these are transferred into actions, as theory is useful only when it creates the reliable basis for implementation strategy, and helps to improve prevention strategies. (Doupe, 2006)
The research itself should involve practical suggestions, and assessment of their effectiveness in other countries, while theoretic frameworks for defining the target population neither move the problem-solving indicator nor create the necessary basis for an implementation strategy. On the other hand, identification of the unique population should be included in the general theoretic framework, as this is the essential part for overcoming cultural and ethnic barriers for resolving the whole problem.
