Creative Thinking Impact on Organization’s Effectiveness

In the modern world, as opposed to the previously relevant belief that only strict instructions are to be followed in a formal setting, such as a workplace, creativity is a crucial trait for an employee. The demand for an inventive approach has been growing recently, as it is closely connected with several other factors, for example, a comfortable working environment. However, in general, creative thinking among the staff allows achieving the innovation of concepts and technology through eliminating the preexisting judgments and generating ideas from a new angle of perception (Tripathy, 2018). These factors are paramount for any organization, as they contribute to a company’s competitive ability and the settlement on the market. Thus, creativity in the workplace can benefit an organization in terms of its development as an efficient business, which is why it is often required of a potential employee.

A successful market presence, however, is not the only way to improve an organization’s effectiveness. As it was mentioned, the demand for creativity is connected with a comfortable working environment. Thus, an inventive approach to different issues in the workplace can help tackle problems quickly and productively. One of such challenges is decision making which can be overcomplicated due to the abundance of possible solutions or the novelty of a problem (Tripathy, 2018). Creative thinking can provide the staff with new perspectives on the matter and help determine the best option. It is utilized similarly in resolving conflicts, as the process begins with identifying the root of the problem and studying the positions and attitudes of those involved in it. Looking at an issue from an abstract point of view can effectively solve it in a short period (Tripathy, 2018). Thus, creative thinking is not only associated with new ideas and technology as part of an organization’s success. A stable working environment directly contributes to the effectiveness of a company and can often be settled only by applying an innovative approach, which explains the growing demand for employees capable of implementing it.
