One of my most favorite fashion blogs is Penny Pincher Fashion. I have started to follow Penny’s style insights because I enjoyed her approach to the industry. The suggestions that she proposes on her web page are all accessible to females of all budgets. Moreover, I appreciated the idea that fashion can be available to the general public and that every woman can feel beautiful after following her pieces of advice. I also loved the format of collages and mood-boards that she utilizes in her blog, as it appears to be aesthetically pleasing (Pincher, n.d.). Additionally, I discovered that it is an effective way of conveying fashion messages since it allowed me to better visualize clothing items. Furthermore, after following the blog for a couple of weeks, I decided to keep an eye on the page because of the constant updates and unique apparel discoveries that perfectly matched my sense of style.
The list provided in the link was extensive and had good options for anyone seeking to enlarge their exposure to the fashion world. Thefashonguitar, by Charlotte Groeneveld-Van Haren, is unlikely to appeal to me due to its focus on children’s clothing (Denardo & Tai, 2019). This is not a topic that I am interested in, making the content of Thefashonguitar irrelevant. This does not mean that her work is of low quality; simply, it is designed for a different demographic. In contrast, Zanita Whittington’s work is interesting, as it covers fashion from around the world. This means the images and ideas presented are always fresh and do not end up only representing specific fashion sensibilities. From the blogs described on the site, Zanita Whittington is a clear favorite for me, followed by Rachel Nguyen’s blog, That’s Chic.
