Unfortunately, there are life cases when pets no longer have a place in a person’s life, and then the animal can be abandoned on the street. There are many different volunteer organizations that are engaged in catching and rescuing abandoned pets. Such organizations are not commercial but work at the expense of donations by caring people. To convince some people and call for help, it is necessary to have persuasive skills.
Persuasion covers all aspects of culture, while rhetoric is the most critical influence in all spheres of society, from secular negotiations to primary national debates. To encourage a person to do something, it is necessary to use rhetorical methods of persuasion. In this case, the most appropriate approach of persuasion will be pathos. This method is aimed at evoking strong emotions in people, especially such as pity and empathy.
I wanted to convince people to provide financial assistance to animals that need it. I told people that once animals were pets, lived in warm houses, ate regularly and deliciously, they were loved and cared for. For some reason, the animal ceased to be necessary for people, and they released a living helpless creature into the street. It is complicated to survive on the streets at any time of the year, especially if there was a home before, protection, and food that does not need to be extracted.
Animals are in danger because people do not have a sense of responsibility for the tamed one. It will be scary, lonely, dangerous, cold, or hot on the street, and the possibility of getting food is minimal. By drawing people’s attention to the suffering of a living being, I managed to raise money for help, so the method of persuading, pathos, is successful.

In every dispute, it is necessary to take a particular position and defend it, and the ability to convince is also helpful at work. To have persuasion skills in perfection, it is necessary to study them and try to apply carefully.
