Introduction
Revolution is a complex phenomenon, and it usually leads to changes in political regimes and values in society (Ritter, 2015). Thus, one of its essential elements is the fact that the leader has to fall or be replaced (Ritter, 2015). The idea of this social phenomenon combines the features of political action and philosophy. Thus, to establish a foundation for discussion, it is essential to define these terms.
Philosophy is a discipline that specializes in explaining different social aspects of life such as key values, mindset, and life-guiding principles and thoughts (Fain, 2015). As for political action, it is a specified action that is used to reach particular goals with the help of politics and its channels (Muller, 2015). In this case, the primary goal of this paper is to show a connection between these principles with the assistance of historical examples and their presence in my life.
Main body
Generally speaking, they are highly connected, as the principles of philosophy can trigger political action, and, as a consequence, revolution. When referring to history, it is evident that different philosophical studies provoked changes in political regimes by promoting their dogmas. For example, the American Revolution that contributed to the development of the democratic society was majorly caused by the ideas of the Era of Enlightenment (Taylor, 2016). The philosophies of this époque supported the concepts of equality and mutual respect, and the absence of these values in the existent political regime was the primary reason for political action and revolution. This example shows that these social aspects tend to be interdependent.
Conclusion
In the end, I can claim that this connection and ideas are reflected in the political life of my country. The political actions of every leader are defined by his/her philosophy and beliefs that are highly dependent on his/her perception of the world. Due to substantial disagreements and differences in viewpoints, tensions may arise and be the major reasons for political changes and even revolution. As for my life, my philosophy not only defines my attitude towards politics but also guides my decision-making in other spheres. Overall, I believe that understanding this connection can help improve the world and predict possible revolutions and recessions.
