The character has a special gift and manages to identifie the illness in his mother, but he cannot treat the disease. It is similar to the selected novel, The Foundation of a New Homeland: the Aeneid as Aeneas represents a dominant character who undergoes a painful experience in his town together with his father. They try to flee from their home city, which is destroyed during the war. He faces many hardship as he attempts to find way out of the destroyed city. The major characters in the film and novel undergo pain while trying to find the best way to help their families. Another essential character in The Physician is Sina as he presents various aspects of life. The experience of Sina is similar to the one in the novel, The Foundation of a New Homeland: the Aeneid as Aeneas, the dominant character and his father survive hard life while fleeing from a destroyed home city to run for their safety.
