Utilizing innovative technology, the introduction of telehealth has made it possible for nurses to care for their patients even when they are not physically present in the same room. Some of the devices that have contributed to the development of telehealth nursing include mobile phones and devices, tablets, laptop computers, and the iPad. Moreover, they should work on understanding how the virus evolves, as this knowledge is vital for evaluating the present scale of the problem.
Determining The Success of the Inoculation Program
The program’s primary objective is to reduce the likelihood of the influenza virus being transmitted to more population members. The maintenance of accurate records is an essential component in assisting in evaluating the program’s efficacy. After the immunization campaign has commenced, the infection rate ought to be tallied and compared with the infection rate that prevailed before the program was launched (McGonigle & Mastrian, 2017). One of the most important indicators that the program is succeeding in reaching the desired objective is a decrease in the infection rate.
Ethical Considerations Related to Interoperability and a Shared Electronic Health Record
Interoperability is using and integrating electronic health data to enhance patients’ overall health. Since the informatics crew is exposed to data from a range of patients, it is recommended that they be ethical in their treatment of this data. The information they are exposed to relates to a wide range of patients. They are responsible for ensuring that the data is correct, that it is incorporated into the system without bias, that the information is kept private and personal, and that the information is secure (McGonigle & Mastrian, 2017). These are only a few ethical considerations they must address while performing their duties.
