Introduction

Moreover, a well-chosen approach allows you to succeed exceptionally quickly and cope with the task quickly to be productive and effective. However, there are many ways of abundant production in business, one of which is the principle of Lean Production. This assignment states the concept of the principle of Lean Production and shows its effectiveness in the actual example.
The Principle of Lean Production
Lean manufacturing is an approach to managing an organization, the main idea of which is to improve the quality of a product or service by reducing losses. Introducing such a principle into production contributes to less time, reduced defective products, and increased productivity.
- The paramount principle is the creation of value (Landau). The successful fulfillment of three criteria forms it:
- Justified need for the consumer;
- Changing the structure of the desired product or service to bring it closer to the final state;
- The need to manufacture these products at a time without any defects.
It is vital to fulfilling all three requirements, or the action will not comply with the principle and will not create value.
- Elimination of losses is the second starting point immediately after determining the value (Landau). There are several types of losses: defects, surpluses, overproduction, actions that do not create value, etc. When these losses are detected, performing specific processes to eliminate them to establish production and implement the principle is necessary.
- The so-called continuous flow principle means moving a product or information throughout the work, from the starting point to the final one (Landau). There are two types of difficulties that can be encountered when implementing this principle:
- In homogeneity of the flow, in case of which it is necessary to apply extraordinary measures to eliminate it;
- Congestion of the flow, going beyond the possibilities. This complexity entails losses and requires eradication.
- The principle of pulling is necessary to determine accurate data on customer demand, and product volumes, which allows you to form a vision about the importance of raw materials and their replenishment;
- The last principle is continuous improvement (Landau). It is to use Lean manufacturing principles everywhere to identify and eradicate loss.
Practical Example
The application of the principles of Lean manufacturing can be considered in the actions of the aircraft manufacturing company Boeing:
- Moving without the need for means of production is a loss that the correct planning organization should eradicate.
- Storing excess funds and materials makes order fulfillment more difficult. The solution may be the correct distribution of materials among the branches of production.
- Economic stagnation leads to problems such as failure to complete orders on time due to a lack of materials or labor. This type of loss is eliminated through precise planning and redistribution of forces and materials.
- Overproduction of parts leads to excess. To prevent such a problem, the pull principle is applied, which determines the needs of the consumer and the exact number of materials.
- Defects can cause customer dissatisfaction and increase costs. The creation of value should be applied to prevent such problems.
Conclusion
Thus, the given theoretical material and practical example prove the need to use Lean production principles. The application of these principles is the justified vital necessity to a successful production process and permanent profit from transactions. If a company faces monotonous problems for a long time, which deprive it of profit, it is worth considering the introduction of Lean manufacturing at the enterprise to fix these problems.
