Greetings to everyone who chose to take a look at the 2023 Video Contest Scholarship winners announcement!
We will review the overall statistics before announcing the top submissions.
We received 16 submissions in total this year. For a variety of reasons, we were unable to include 2 of the works in the evaluation and final voting (incorrect format, unrelated subject, technological difficulties, etc.). In the end, we had 14 videos in the first evaluation phase and 11 in the second.
It’s safe to conclude that, all things considered, the competition went off without a hitch, with very few instances of cheating attempts or other issues. We were incredibly proud of you when we saw all of the lovely and imaginative videos you submitted!
Each of the entries that made it to the next phase of assessment received 11 votes, 195 views, and 2 hours of viewing time.
Out of all these works, we’ve selected the top 5 submissions with the highest potential to win:
- The Future of AI is in Our Hands by Mia Mascione;
- Winds of Change by Roman Slack;
- If AI was around in the 90s In Education by Shawn Nguyen;
- Unleashing the Future of Learning with AI by Shreya Nallamothu.
Our jury then decided which two submissions would take the prizes, so let’s declare the winners.
Shreya Nallamothu wins first place and the $1,000 reward. Unleashing the Future of Learning with AI is the title of the video that got 4 votes and 34 views. Good work!
Shawn Nguyen wins the $500 reward for placing second. If AI was around in the 90s In Education is the title of the video that got 7 votes and 17 views. Bravo!
We are truly grateful to each and every one of you for entering the tournament this year. If you weren’t fortunate this time, don’t be upset with yourself. Many more chances will present themselves in the future, so stay tuned for updates via our blog, the StudyCorgi, and StudyCorgi TV YouTube channels (subscribe if you haven’t already).
