College Success Tips: Respect, Responsibility, and Self-Improvement

Defying Authority in Fighting for Justice with Respect

I want to share a few things that will be beneficial in college. First of all, you cannot fight injustice if you perpetuate it. Therefore, to provide a pleasant environment for learning, you need to be tolerant of all people. In addition, you need to know the difference between disrespect and irresponsibility.

However, to be successful, you should avoid these two issues; disrespect is a neglectful behavior that can be prevented by revising your values. Thus, do not confuse these two concepts and try to make every effort to be a respectful and responsible person. Even though there are no safe places, you should attempt to establish emotionally healthy friendships in your new community. For this purpose, you need to remember to be respectful of others and take accountability for your intentions.

Building Relationships with Communication

Furthermore, social media should only be used to convey truthful messages and communicate with friends. After making some new friends, I hope you will not forget about me and will write to me occasionally. You must also write a letter to your mother because she is concerned about you and always strives to help you. Consequently, I want you to have a wonderful college life, but I wish you to always be mindful of your old friends and relatives.

Growing Confidence with Physical Strength

Moreover, physical activity is a method to keep your health in good condition. Therefore, do not neglect to do pushups and sports. This will enable you to enhance not only your physical body but also your mentality. Then you will be able to realize yourself and not depend on the opinions of others. If you want to show yourself, do not think about the views of others, but instead try to improve yourself. Remember that teachers want to support and teach you, which is why you need to accept their help. Accordingly, I hope you will adhere to these rules to be a decent person and student in college.
