Comprehensive nursing care unites a combination of various measures such as a thorough plan, excellence assessment, and philosophy of therapy. Appropriate nursing interventions for clients experiencing disorders, which affect cell growth and replication, include, first of all, paying significant attention to test scores and clinical symptoms during treatment and emotional support. These attainments will impact my nursing practice by enhancing patients’ quality of life after therapy (Peate & Wild, 2017). The disorders, which influence fluid and electrolyte balance comprise high blood pressure, diabetes, and certain hereditary diseases (Peate & Wild, 2017).
The knowledge of it will help me prevent an imbalance of potassium and sodium in the patient’s body. As for the factors, which affect acid-base balance, they involve the use of certain medicaments, for instance, salicylates, chronic respiratory diseases, obesity, the trauma of the chest, hypoglycemia (Peate & Wild, 2017). The awareness of these reasons will help me identify the type of acidosis, including metabolic and respiratory.
The nursing interventions for the clients with upper gastrointestinal diseases comprises ensuring that the patient is taking appropriate medications. In addition, internal causes such as fear, anxiety, and fatigue need to be reduced or eliminated through non-pharmacological methods (Peate & Wild, 2017). The care for clients with lower gastrointestinal diseases include preventing relapse and reducing pain. The assistance for the client with endocrine disorders involves assessing clinical manifestations of medications side effects and hypoglycemia, patient adherence to the dietary program, insulin administration, regular laboratory testing, and emotional support (Peate & Wild, 2017). The awareness of the described process will help me be prepared for the episodes associated with hypoglycemia.
To summarize, having a comprehensive knowledge of care related to each type of disease will enable me to achieve the possibility to provide high-quality help for patients. Particularly, awareness of interventions for clients experiencing disorders, which affect cell growth and replication, will reduce complications. Understanding factors, which influence fluid, electrolyte, and acid-base balance will prevent the compromise of the kidneys ‘ability to perform their functions and normalize the patients’ pH levels. The lore of interventions for the clients with upper and lower gastrointestinal and endocrine illnesses will relieve the patients’ condition.
