Introduction

The recruitment process involves various stages repeated every time the organization conducts staffing. As Figure 1 below shows, organizations start by creating a recruitment strategy and organizing candidate relationship management before moving to recruitment and onboarding.

Strategy Development

The first step is to develop a recruitment strategy that informs the company of the strategies to adopt when selecting candidates. This is essential, as a specific strategy may help the organization achieve the set targets.

Relationship Building

The second aspect is developing positive relationships with candidates to ensure they feel valued. This can help ensure that the company has potential candidates willing to join the company. The HR professionals can create a list of qualified individuals that the company can hire on short notice. Managing the relationships with candidates can ensure the organization attains the best-qualified professionals (Greene, 2020).

Recruitment

The other aspect is conducting recruitment, which follows the strategy adopted by the firm. Companies are required not to discriminate against any person when hiring.

Onboarding

The onboarding process is essential to recruitment as it gives employees the confidence to perform their tasks. The employees are inducted into the work environment and given time to interact with colleagues and develop effective work relationships. This is crucial for recruits, as some may need to get acquainted with how the company runs its activities.

Training

The last aspect is to conduct training and development aimed at enhancing workers’ skills and capabilities. The training can involve teaching employees to use a particular system or tool (Greene, 2020). The aim is to ensure the workers can help the company achieve its objectives.

Conclusion

In summary, the cyclical nature of talent acquisition shows that organizations have to keep fine-tuning it to ensure they easily achieve their staffing goals. This involves finding new and effective ways to retain and recruit talent to enhance the workforce.
