Application of the Revised Standards for Quality Improvement Reporting Excellence SQUIRE 2.0 to the project can improve it by indicating gaps or flaws that might deteriorate outcomes. My DPI project manuscript can also benefit from the employment of this paradigm.

First, following the given guide, the rationale for the selection of the given topic along with the relevance should be provided to ensure that the discussed issues are essential for the healthcare sector and the proposed improvement can help to attain better outcomes (“Revised standards for quality improvement reporting excellence: SQUIRE 2.0,” n.d.). For this reason, more detailed information about concepts and theories on fall prevention should be created to create a comprehensive framework for the project.

Second, the standards recommend the creation of a separate results section that will incorporate data and findings acquired due to the application of the proposed methodology (“Revised standards for quality improvement,” n.d.). For this reason, my DPI project manuscript can be improved by adding this very section containing all details of the analysis and creating the basis for the discussion and conclusions.

Additionally, the improved project should also contain a detailed description of limits to the generalizability of the project, possible bias that should be considered when interpreting results, and efforts to minimize the negative impact of these limits (“Revised standards for quality improvement,” n.d.). For this reason, it is vital to reconsider my manuscript and add more information about possible limits and barriers that might complicate the research or undermine the validity of acquired data.

By applying these changes to my DPI project, I expect to enhance it and provide relevant data that can contribute to quality improvement in various units as fall prevention remains topical for health units, and the reduction of incidence might help to attain better outcomes.
