PLAIN’s suggestion corresponds precisely to the six C’s of communication, namely consideration and clarity (Miami University, n.d.). Finding the words that are transparent to all individuals is exceptionally considerate, as it allows various readers to understand the meaning behind the work.
Keeping the writing simple is a highly significant task for the author. The PLAIN act advises to “Be concise,” as complex sentence structure can confuse the reader, causing them to spend more time and effort on the document (The Plain Language Action and Information Network, n.d.). These instructions considerably correlate with the discussed consideration feature, and they also represent the conciseness of clear communication (Miami University, n.d.).
