This is a resource with directories of social services and health data. Here can find information on administrative, research, and preventive issues. This resource can help me as a professional to move up the career ladder, as I will have access to all information that may be required at work. If I encounter a problem, I will not know how to solve it, and I will look for data in this resource.

Knowing the factors that put older people at risk of loneliness and social isolation has become critically important for assessing more seniors. This can help develop skills in caring for and identifying anxiety signals in older people.

Michael Fine’s text is an essential and timely contribution to solving the problems and challenges associated with patient care in the twenty-first century. The author offers a wide range of points of view and ideas concerning the provision of medical care in several countries. This source will help me understand the positive and negative aspects of providing or receiving care. That is why I decided to add it to my collection.

This webinar explores the nature of basic income policies, including related procedures such as child benefits. That will help me, as a social worker, to be aware of the support for new policies and approaches to solving the problem of economic inequality and resulting material difficulties, such as food, housing, and income instability. I added this resource to my collection because it is important to understand economic disparities.

The authors are passionate about empowering people with disabilities by building on their strengths. This comprehensive book presents an innovative approach based on stability, which fills in the gaps in the available materials on this topic and carefully prepares assistants for successful work with people with disabilities. This information will give me an idea of a new approach based on empowerment in working with people with disabilities, where clients have greater independence and resilience.

McLain, K. B., O’Hara-Leslie, E. K., & Wade, A. C. (2017). Foundations for assisting in home care. Suny Broome.

The article clarifies what home care and related tasks are. Thanks to this research, I can, as a professional, learn to understand people’s physical and psychological needs and the influence of culture on health behavior, values, and practices in home care. I added this resource to my collection because it is with a particular emphasis on understanding the unique needs of people.

In this review session, officials and experts answer questions from the audience about the Interstate Social Work Licensing Agreement. An interstate agreement is a legal agreement between two or more states/territories that allows social workers to practice in each other’s jurisdiction, providing representatives of the profession with greater mobility of licenses. This video will help me to understand more deeply about licensed social workers.

This study examined the relationship between the opioid epidemic and elder abuse. Twenty specialists from four states with practical knowledge of cases of abuse of the elderly took part in focus groups. The information in this article can help me develop prevention and intervention strategies and policies to address this hidden but widespread problem.

Knowing the typical development of a person at each stage of life can help me understand the nature of the causes of specific problems in the client.
