Stress has become a serious issue, especially considering the way of life of an average person in the contemporary world, which elevates different disorders because of imbalance and constant pressure. It is a typical response the body has when changes happen, bringing about physical and mental reactions. Stress reactions assist the human body with adapting to different circumstances. It may be positive, keeping us ready, inspired, and prepared to stay away from a threat. However, stress turns into an issue when stressors proceed for an extended time without rest.
When an individual has ongoing stress, the enactment of the pressure reaction causes damage to the body and emotional well-being. Physical side effects of pressure are chest pain, weariness or difficulty to fall asleep, cerebral pains, wooziness or shaking, hypertension, muscle strain or jaw grasping, digestive issues, and dysfunctional immune system (American Psychological Association, 2020). Stress can prompt emotional and mental deteriorations, including nervousness, discouragement, anxiety, and a constant feeling of sadness. Frequently, individuals with persistent stress attempt to relieve it with bad habit practices, including drinking, smoking, taking drugs, developing a dietary problem, or various types of compulsive behavior (American Psychological Association, 2020).
Mediations including hypnosis and relaxation, communication with a patient, music treatment have been explored as helpful in decreasing psychophysiological stress effects. The disturbance of the rest wake cycle is depicted as an obstruction to everyday life. In specific examinations, putting a patient into trans and some relaxation techniques were utilized to initiate rest. After five meetings, the patients were shown a decrease in uneasiness and a reclamation of a regular breathing pattern after meetings (Sawni & Breuner, 2017). Patients portrayed the arrangement of deficient data by clinical personnel as one of the most pervasive stressful encounters (Edelman et al., 2014). Consequently, it is advised to inform patients about their condition and treatment in detail to promote their confidence and safety. The cadenced nature of music has been portrayed as having anxiolytic properties (Edelman et al., 2014). Thus, these methods can be applied in medicine to help patients to elevate stress symptoms.
