The main issues faced by the Texas justice system and state judges are caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. These problems include a high degree of burden on judicial officials and an incessant, growing number of new, pending cases. Nathan Hecht, notes that it will take at least three years to stabilize the work and deal with the accumulated pile of cases (Lindell, 2021). Consequently, based on these situations, it is necessary to revise several certain restrictions due to the pandemic, as well as identify additional funding and support from senators. Nevertheless, efforts to reduce the backlog of cases because of COVID-19 are continuing. Still, these measures, so far, to one degree or another, do not bring drastic changes to the judicial process. Thus, ultimately, against the background of tragic events, many will largely have to pay with money and time for such unforeseen and difficult-to-control circumstances.
Regarding this article, I would like to express the following thoughts. Primarily, this article reflects the current unresolved dilemmas and obstacles. It states those facts that are quite difficult to resolve only through the efforts of the existing judges from Texas. At the moment, it is necessary to take more precise and prompt measures. Certain plans and programs will help mitigate the currently undesirable consequences. If unfinished cases are “left to chance,” some people will have to solve the problems doubly. For example, attracting the attention of management and higher authorities contributes to improving the situation. In addition, the public also plays a fairly key role in solving such issues. Undoubtedly, there is no “magic formula” that can prevent the spread of COVID-19 and turn back time. Indeed, it will take time, effort, desire, and perseverance to achieve this goal.
Nevertheless, humanity has already had a chance to influence the elimination of the root of many urgent problems. Accordingly, it is only through joint efforts and the desire of every caring person that it is possible to save humanity from a wide range of negative aspects. By making more strenuous attempts to stop the pandemic, the lives of the majority will change for the better. Work at enterprises will be restored in the usual understanding, and people will become healthier and happier. This means that, among other things, the judicial system and the processes in Texas will resume their activities at a more efficient and secure level.
