This method allows a copyright holder to solve their issues directly and without the interference of the federal court. It can be argued that the process gives more authority to creators, allowing them to protect their rights more freely. However, the law also has significant downsides to the way it is organized, as it allows the offending party to simply dismiss the claim, making it ineffective against bigger parties and informed individuals. In the online environment created by the pandemic, the law also needs to be regulated carefully, as many ill-intentioned people seek financial gain from filing illegitimate claims. The opponents of the legislation also cite it as ineffective against malicious agents. Overall, it can be said that the law has wide potential for amends and development in light of the emergence of new media formats and technology.
