Aspects of the School Environment

Introduction

The school’s physical environment is accessible to pupils as the school is equipped with all means to facilitate mobility. Schoolchildren of different ages can find their way around the school in the same way, thanks to the navigation signs with room numbers posted around the school. All students can participate in instructional and social activities because there are no prerequisites. Adequate seating is also provided for schoolchildren, and all the necessary equipment is in the classrooms.

Discussion

The school can be considered a friendly environment because it is designed to be as user-friendly as possible. Students feel valued because the school is equipped in such a way that they feel comfortable. This makes children feel more needed at school because they are cared for. Staff is also provided with comfortable physical conditions that make them feel valued and work more efficiently. Students feel safe in the school as it has all the necessary equipment for a barrier-free and comfortable environment. The staff feels safe at the school as they are provided with an environment where their well-being is taken care of. School staff often try to listen to each student and find out what they do not like about the school or what could be improved. There are certain expected behaviors from students and staff, such as courtesy and discipline. All school members must follow the ethics rules for better coexistence and cooperation. Students can often participate in organizing events or specific rules that can benefit the public spirit. However, students cannot develop guides, programs, or expectations. Emotional and social skills are sharpened as learning involves constant interaction with classmates and teamwork. In some cases, emotional manifestations are explicit and expressive, but in most cases, they are restrained and covered. The learning environment is student-centered because most events aim to meet students’ needs. Not all students are expected to do much as teachers adapt to the student’s learning model. A high level of academic support is available to all students without exception. Student and community cultures are well represented in the curriculum as many activities are created to support it.

Conclusion

The school is good at creating an environment focused on students and their convenience. There is room for improvement in the school as far as the computer lab is concerned, as the equipment there is outdated and needs to be updated.
