The key mission of Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management is to use the education that is global in orientation, ethical in focus, and entrepreneurial in spirit to advance responsible business practice. This is a rather significant goal that is oriented to taking business education to a new level and making it a desirable and promising sphere. Moreover, this mission perfectly aligns with my own past and potential future business endeavors.
To begin with, I want to mention that I am entrepreneurial in spirit, too. During all my jobs, I managed to achieve great success, get promotions and salary increases, and prove that it is in my blood to be a businessman. No matter where I worked, I always strove to become the best in the team and make every effort to increase the company’s performance. For example, while working in Verizon Wireless as the business account manager, I managed to contribute 246% to budget, 148% to revenue, and 638% to IoT/M2M activation. Moreover, I was responsible for the management and delivery of M2M/IoT solutions with an emphasis on improving business efficiency and compliance. I am quite initiative and independent, and I like to face difficulties and problems in order to find unusual solutions to them. Every day I try to generate new ideas and offer them to those who are part of my team.
As for being ethical in focus, this is one of my vital rules that always accompanies me and influences my business choices and decisions. No matter where I work and what my position is, it is necessary for me to stay an ethical employee and person. For instance, when I worked in Comcast as the enterprise sales executive, my responsibility was to identify and build relationships with C-Levels to ensure seamless customer experience and consult on enterprise solutions. This duty requires a person to act ethically towards people I had to communicate with. In my potential future business endeavors, I want to become a perfect communicator and leader who respects his employees, clients, and their rights and fulfills one’s responsibilities.
Education and business need to be global in orientation since it is the way of achieving goals. As for me, I may say that I am also globally oriented. During about ten years of making my career, I managed to have various positions in a number of different companies. Moreover, in my potential future, I would like to start relationships with some foreign organizations and achieve mutual trust and collaboration. It would be amazing to make my business globally oriented, as this is entirely another level of success.
As for the degree from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management, I believe that it will be rather helpful in achieving my goals. As mentioned above, after several years, it is in my plans to establish contact with foreign companies and extend my experience, knowledge, and comfort zone. The School of Business and Management degree will prove that I am the right specialist who may be trusted.
