Social media platforms turn communication into collaborative discussions with people all over the world. What is needed to access the internet and online news is just the devices like the smartphones used by most people today, apps like Twitter, and data. The new media in the news has allowed forms of communication that were once separate to merge and news can now be summarized in the social media and people gain more due to the constant updates (Nossek, & Adoni, 2017). New media in the news has a role of helping people express themselves easily and share thoughts via blogs, podcasts, websites, and videos thus giving them a chance to learn from each other.

The film’s technology is another form of new media that is helping in passing information and growing the skills of creative thinking as they pass deep messages which help people know the difference between unethical and ethical living. Films help in growing the planning skills especially when students are involved in filmmaking like the school films’ annual productions. Film-making adjusts with the changing technology which is more of the new media in news evolution. It brings people together to make the film work thus enhancing teamwork and growing the skill of problem-solving in the individuals. Technology is advancing faster which means that the new media has to keep up the pace and for us not to be left behind we all have to follow the trend.
