There many successful possibilities rather than prospects for failure in the implantation of the ERP systems. I have also learned that ERPs are the new structural formation of major global enterprises. In order to implement an ERP system, the users should be trained on how to utilize the process without too many delays.

The article has clearly shown that the implementation of ERPs leads to positive development especially in the communication processes in an organization. The evidences given by the authors are satisfying and they are very accurate. The other uses primary sources in defending his arguments and this is a very secure way of presenting such information. Especially with respect to accounting, ERP systems have been identified as one of the most efficient ways of enhancing communication up and down the communication chain. The authors have argued their points and stands on the issues of ERP systems in a very concise and convincing manner.

I believe that ERP systems can help in restructuring of the organizational management procedure as well as communication within an organization. This text has helped me to look at the concept of ERP systems from a new direction. Although the procedure might involve several risks, they are worth taking considering the anticipated positive results. By showing both the effects and implications of utilizing the ERP systems in an organization or any businesses, the article has created a simple of helping the reader to understand the concept (Kanellou & Spathis, 2013).

This article has concisely introduced the problem statement which is ‘how ERP systems can benefit accounting and enhance the level of satisfaction in an ERP environment (Kanellou & Spathis, 2013). According to the authors, previous researches have not been in a position to tell or show the relationship between ERP systems and accounting. The authors lament that there lack sufficient scientific research and evidence to prove the existence of a connection between accounting and ERP systems. In the article, the level of satisfaction by the user of the system has also been discussed.

This article argues in support of the argument that the ERPs are failing due to some other reasons concerning the individual businesses trying to implement such programs. The article reviews the differences in the perception of these systems among accountants. Different accounting officers have different reactions and approaches when it comes to the view and perception of ERPs. This has been the major challenge in the implementation of ERPs as the authors have clearly indicated in this article. The failure of EPRs is not based on the content or formation of the systems. Instead, the failure is caused by the business environment and mostly the intrinsic human resistance to change. The article has also broadly expounded on ERP and user satisfaction.

In satisfaction, the user’s needs must be sufficiently met and he or she must be satisfied in order to determine the extent of user satisfaction (Kanellou, & Spathis, 2013). This is the only to measure the user satisfaction of a communication system in an origination. The article creates the notable difference between user satisfaction and perceived usefulness in the ERP context (Kanellou & Spathis, 2013). This research has been done using the quantitative approach in data collection and analysis (Kanellou & Spathis, 2013).

The data collected was acquired by the use of self-filled questionnaires (Kanellou & Spathis, 2013). The reason for using self-filled questionnaire is because it gives room for an individual to give information in a discreet manner. This article shows the various variables that have been considered in the research and they include accounting benefits, the number of modules implemented the type of modules implemented, and ERP cost” (Kanellou & Spathis, 2013).

This is a concise report on an article based on the effects or implications of ERP systems in the business environment. This critical review of research done to establish how ERPs affect or influence accounting has discussed the different finding achieved. The paper has critically analyzed the article discussing the carious evidences given by the authors in support of their arguments. Some of the major lessons learned in this article have also been discussed broadly. This critical review has also provided a personal reflection on the subject discussed in the article.
