1 Students should be able to identify, form, and use abstract nouns (such as motherhoodand childhood) In-class discussions (Educator will Socrative Teacher as the best technology) Bi-weekly questions Standardized test
2 Students should form and use some of the simple verb tenses (such as I sat, I sit, I will sit) Randomized class questions Weekly questions (PingPong will be considered to support the assessment process) Standardized test
3 Students should produce, write, and read simple, complex, and compound sentences In-class discussions (Teacher will provide a Quizlet to support the process) Homework assignment Short essay

The identified assessment strategies are essential and capable of examining whether the targeted grade 3 students have understood the presented instructions and content. For instance, in-class discussions are useful for the teacher to monitor whether the individuals can form abstract nouns with ease. The Socrative Teacher technology will guide them to complete their discussions (Bharti, 2015). The teacher will use bi-weekly questions to examine whether the learners have understood the content and form the relevant abstract nouns. The use of a standardized test will dictate the overall performance of every individual. The acquired information will make it easier for the educator to identify areas that require additional guidance and instructions. The insights will guide the teacher to make the relevant considerations for the next objective.

Formative assessments examine learners’ ability to form and use simple verb tenses will entail weekly and randomized class questions. The teacher will design them in such a way that they focus on past, present, and future tenses (Common Core State Standards Initiative, n.d.). The tutor will then pose the intended questions to different learners randomly. He or she will consider the use of journal entries to gauge the achievements of the respective individuals. Weekly questions will be essential to identify the recorded gains and areas that require additional improvements. Finally, the teacher will employ the use of a standardized test that will identify the achievements and possible gaps. The acquired information will guide the educator to consider areas of difficulty and provide personalized information. The use of PingPong will support the process and make it possible for most of the beneficiaries to be involved and respond to the questions posed (Bharti, 2015). This process has the potential to deliver positive results since modern technologies are capable of motivating and encouraging every child to be involved in the learning process.

The third objective is important since it is in accordance with the outlined standard and it examines the success recorded in the other areas. The first formative assessment will include in-class questions that will benefit from the use of a Quizlet technology. Students will pick specific questions from the Quizlet cards and discuss them in class. The second one would be that of a homework assessment whereby students will be required to formulate the three types of sentences (Common Core State Standards Initiative, n.d.). Finally, the teacher will require that all the students complete a short essay that combines the use of simple, compound, and complex sentences if they are to receive good marks. The educator will use such scores to identify key areas for continuous improvement.
