The new department should be placed next to the pediatric emergency room, and who is qualified and working with an overweight child should be instructed to direct them to this department. To further encourage the distribution of healthier foods, cooperation with nearby supermarkets and government-run food assistance programs like WIC would be used. To assist spread knowledge and ensure that children of all ages receive nourishing food, International Medical Corps would also collaborate with local schools.
