Introduction
The study included assessing the basic things that a person does for their health or self-development. Behavioral patterns that I am most likely to follow have been assessed. Despite the different chances of performing one or another action, I noticed that they are all consistent. This intervention was carried out at a basic level of training and included daily activities. The conducted research is a fixation on sensations and was chosen to serve as a basis for reasoning about self-motivation in matters of improving physical and moral health. Another criterion for selecting this type of study was data collection and evaluation ease.
Methods
The study of the most probable behavioral models was carried out according to 5 criteria, including primary free time activity. On a scale of 1 to 5, the following activities were rated: going to bed early and getting up early, reading, studying, and working out. Ratings were given, starting from the slightest probability of performing an action to the largest. The data is based on internal feelings of motivation to do this or that action and observations of the frequency of performing these actions.
Results
The results of this study showed the relationship and sequence of daily activities. Going to bed early and getting up early was at the same level of predominance. Activities for the development of physical health and self-development turned out to be approximately at the same level: reading, working out, and studying. Going to bed and getting up shifted when performing activities that expend physical or mental strength. It is also clear that the desire and need to maintain physical health and exercise is most likely associated with a reluctance to go to bed early and vice versa.
The Consistence of Behavioral Patterns
The study of behavioral patterns is associated with autonomous motivation and self-determining behavior. Human behavior is largely influenced by personal and contextual motivational factors (Ntoumanis et al., 2021). People who feel personal approval of their moral and physical health actions tend to persist in their behavior (Trigueros et al., 2019). The presence of a personal choice of practical activities corresponds to the human desire to exercise control over one’s life and feel autonomy. The relationship between the probability and frequency of behavioral patterns is due to the consistent effect of self-motivation on the performance of health-related activities. Repetitive, consistent behavior is essential for a normal psycho-emotional state of a person (Villanueva et al., 2020). The sequence of actions is also associated with the desire to engage in different types of activities that require different brain involvement. Low motivation to get up and go to bed early is connected with the desire to devote time to self-development, which is typical of modern people.
Feelings About the Behavior and Intervention
The intervention worked since the self-reflection and identification of the frequency of behavioral patterns concluded that the sequence of actions and the relationship with self-motivation. First of all, identifying the frequency of certain activities influenced my understanding of the distribution of free time. Statistical data influenced my desire to balance the frequency of these activities. It may be worth giving up some activities to go to bed and get up early. On other days, depending on the schedule, I can pay more attention to them to identify the balance between moral and physical health and self-development. Motivation is a direct determinant of behavior, and enhancing motivation plays a central role in most health behavior change interventions (Knittle et al., 2018). In my opinion, motivation is fundamental in developing these patterns of behavior.
Tracking the frequency of specific actions allows me to understand myself better, choose the right course, and keep track of what is most unconsciously important. Such a look inside the causes of one’s behavior serves as the basis for a possible reassessment of values. The study shows that my motivation for self-development remains at a high level, which I would like to maintain in the future.
An essential aspect of this study was identifying a high level of self-motivation. Self-motivation is the process of creating, maintaining, and implementing one’s motives based on a person’s conscious choice and aimed at satisfying needs. Despite this, my level of motivation for self-development can even negatively affect my physical health since I can do many things at the expense of sleep. This study made me think about my priorities and devote more time to my physical well-being.
One of the most critical points of this study is the increase in the level of awareness when performing routine tasks. A conscious approach allows me to distract myself from the automatic performance of activities such as training or preparing for classes and understand my emotions and feelings (Baltzell & Summers, 2018). A conscious approach to life implies the training of managing my attention, which helps to get out of the automatic living of life and truly take control and responsibility for it.
Possible Modification and Implementation
Since the practice of self-reflection about behavioral patterns has been helpful, I think it is important to keep recording observations. It is worth seeing if my behavioral habits change after understanding the need to balance them. However, the plan may require significant refinement to reflect the complete picture of what is happening. First, it would be helpful to include a more extensive list of habits and activities in the evaluation list. This extension will help me understand if I am missing something important from my daily routine. Secondly, I can include in the evaluation plan the time spent in a particular activity in search of a strategy for a balanced pastime. I can further implement such a project to achieve the best result. For example, to conduct tracking of the emotional state from engaging in certain activities. Tracking emotions is helpful for further developing self-motivation and finding the activity that brings me the most positive feelings. In addition, it would be useful to keep a glider in which a certain amount of time is devoted to each action, depending on the workload.
Conclusion
A study conducted by assessing the most likely activities in my free time shows my high level of self-motivation and the need to find a balance between physical and moral well-being. The collected data allows me to conclude that the frequency of performing actions directly depends on self-motivation. In addition, despite the different degrees of action probability, they turned out to be interconnected and consistent. To understand the complete picture of the study, it is necessary to continue and supplement the intervention. A good addition would be to expand the list of assessed actions and keep track of emotions. Research increases the likelihood of a conscious approach to life, without which it is impossible to achieve control and autonomy.
