International companies and agencies that operate globally have significant resources to solve global issues. Such definitions as inter-governmental organizations (IGOs), non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and multinational corporations (MNCs) are met in different reports and official documents. Cooperation between these boards contributes to solving global problems associated with universal human challenges. Turhan (2020) names these types of organizations as non-state actors and notes that positive perspectives are achieved through their extended practice of communication with other global agencies. The author mentions policymaking, entrepreneurship, social control, economics, and some other areas in which the interaction of the aforementioned organizations contributes to complex problem-solving (Turhan, 2020). Drawing attention to specific issues and disseminating information in the media are additional aspects that increase the importance of IGOs, NGOs, and MNCs to the global community.
While speaking about the impact on world stability, these organizations’ activities can be viewed in the context of joint efforts to improve situations in specific areas. Moreover, even at the legislative level, some documents ratified, for instance, by such an IGO as the United Nations Organizations, acquire the status of legislatively significant (“Types of an international organization,” n.d.). This suggests that effective interaction between non-governmental boards can have a number of positive implications on specific areas and stimulate government actions in the right direction. For instance, the global problem of climate change can be addressed not only through funds allocated by the authorities to prevent negative anthropogenic impacts but also through research initiated by non-governmental organizations. By combining efforts, IGOs, NGOs, and MNCs can create a sustainable marketing program, influence government decisions, create public hype, and collect money through crowdfunding projects. These perspectives are valuable in addressing global issues of different natures.
