Leveraging SQL Databases for Efficient Expatriate Process Auditing

SQL (Structured Query Language) will be used as SQL and a kind of data-gathering tool for auditing an organization’s current expatriate process. This is a special language that forms queries to the database according to a certain structure. In this case, such a request will be the citizenship of employees that differs from the specified one (Lau et al., 2001). Using SQL, an analyst retrieves data and then processes it using another, more flexible programming language, such as Python.

At the same time, several varieties of SQL need to be used. For example, a MySQL database management system can be used in which any data can be stored. It is convenient because it contains the contacts of employees, which makes it easier to find expatriates among them. PostgreSQL is a more complex system that is suitable for managing large databases and processing complex queries, for example, in the financial sector, industry, or large retail. It is suitable for tracking processes occurring with expatriate employees (Lau et al., 2001). SQL and its varieties are open-source tools, so they are available to businesses of any sphere and format. This is the reason for the choice of this tool in this case since there is no name of a specific company.

It is believed that in databases, each query string should be processed independently of the others. However, in this case, the condition of the task includes the need to group rows and calculate for them the general indicators used to evaluate the characteristics of rows within the group. In this case, SQL analytical functions will work as a powerful tool that helps relieve the client from a large amount of procedural code and complex and sometimes inefficient queries (Lau et al., 2001). Using SQL will make it possible to reduce the development time and, at the same time, get the desired result by finding information about the organization’s current expatriate process.
