Introduction
Management skills research papers are generally regarded from the perspective of the strict structure requirements and the thorough preliminary background researches. Considering the necessity to provide detailed information on the matters of the required managerial skills in the context of the corporate culture and the values of the marketing strategy and business performance in general, there is a strong necessity to outline the important elements for making the key business decisions. This paper aims to analyze the process of researching the management skills and give the outline of writing a research paper on the matters of the managerial strategies, and management skills, required for running a business.
Discussion
The fact is that research design and implementation of the corporate strategy is one of the most important aspects, that should be described and detailed in the research paper. Originally, all the business papers, which relate the matters of managerial strategies cover the essentials of grounding the available research basis on the necessity of using the tools and strategies, implemented and researched by the business leaders. Consequently, the outline of the research paper should be based on the research principles of the managerial tools. Thus, considering the necessity to create the proper structure of the research, it should be emphasized that a major element of the research structure is the simplicity of the analyzed managerial tools, and the skills, which are required for implementing these tools. Thus, as it is stated in Hambrick (2006, p. 196):
Emerging concepts and practices, in general, are required for management researches, which emphasize the need for empowering workers in the organizations; creating learning organizations; working with partners beyond institutional boundaries; communicating effectively with a much broader group of stakeholders (not only employees under direct command in an organization), and so on.
In the light of this fact, it should be emphasized that all the concepts, associated with the matters of the managerial practices, which could be readily applicable in the context of the business practices and selecting the personnel with the required management skills. Thus, the description of the new concepts and practices, which could be applicable for researching the management practices may be used for the background research of the managerial skills, thus, emphasizing the necessity to encourage innovations within the management teams. Thus, by Ellis (2005, p. 328):
Research managers will often have to work with people in more than one organization with their own goals and objectives and organizational culture. This would require research managers to create effective working relationships and environments so that they could work as a network and mobilize the full potential of all concerned.
Conclusion
Finally, it should be emphasized that the outline of the managerial skills, which are required for making the proper research, should be based on the principles of implementation the innovative managerial skills and the issues of the adjustment of the effective working atmosphere, associated with the encouragement of the innovations and offering original and unique ideas.
