The Childhood
Michael Joseph Jackson is an American singer, “King of Pop,” songwriter, and dancer. Michael Jackson was born on August 29, 1958, in Gary, Indiana. Michael Jackson began to conquer the whole world with his talent in his biography as a child. His father founded the group “The Jackson 5”, which included five of the ten children of the Jackson family. Eventually, Michael began to stand out among the other participants (Krohn 32). In 1976, the group changed its name and became “The Jacksons.”
Solo Career
In addition to this project, Michael was engaged in a solo career, recording several of his own albums (“Got To Be There,” “Ben,” “Music & Me,” “Forever, Michael”). In 1978, the shooting of the musical “The Wiz” was held. Then, the following year, the album “Off the Wall” was released, which brought the performer world fame. In 1982, the outstanding album “Thriller” was presented, which became the best-selling album of all time (Krohn 42). “Thriller” brought eight Grammy Awards to Michael. Over time, Jackson’s appearance changed a lot; his skin lightened, and the shape of his nose became different. Therefore, he was helped to overcome depression by Debbie Rowe, a nurse he met at his doctor’s office. In 1996, the singer married for the second time, and in 1997, Debbie gave birth to their first child, Prince Michael Jackson. A year later, they had a daughter, Paris Michael Katherine Jackson (Krohn 87). In 2002, a surrogate mother, whose name remains a secret, birthed the artist’s second son.
