Discussion
First of all, Nicki Minaj has influenced others with her unique style of composing and performance, versatile flow, charisma, and lyricism. In her songs, she switches genres and changes flow several times between verses utilizing alter egos to sound organic and original. In this way, Minaj empowers other musicians to experiment with their styles as well. In addition, she affects her audience through meaningful lyrics and the personal example of the success of a person from a dysfunctional family who believed in her dream (Jethwany, 2022). At the same time, it is possible to say that she has changed the rap industry dominated by men who typically adopted gangster-like images. Bringing color to the world of hip-hop and breaking stereotypes, Nicki Minaj demonstrates to other artists that hip-hop may be different. In addition, she paves the way for other women in this industry, empowering them to express themselves.
Conclusion
All in all, it is possible to say that Minaj promotes the ideas of feminism, showing that women may be successful in any sphere previously ruled by men.
