Coca-Cola is the world’s most known beverage industry that specializes in producing all sorts of drinks. The company works in more than 200 countries and distributes over 500 brands (The Coca-Cola Company, 2020). The chosen company has a significant influence on the global market and does not have many competitors within the industry. With billion-dollar income, the company spends the amount of money on investments, tax-paying, public initiatives, and other expenses. Coca-Cola’s website provides all the details on its financial affairs therefore, it will be easy to obtain and analyze the data. The chosen project concerns the suggestion of operational improvements for further development. Even though the company is believed to make a billion dollars annually, it is necessary to conduct a more precise analysis which will identify the areas of improvement for Coke.
This study represents an analysis of the Coca-Cola company’s monetary affairs. This paper aims to investigate several financial aspects of Coca-Cola production. It is primarily crucial to study the income statement and balance sheet to identify the total revenue, income before and after-tax, and gross profit. Moreover, the cash flow analysis will let establish the net income and average shares. The next point to investigate is the benchmarking model of the company to compare it with the competitors. Furthermore, the paper seeks to conduct a SWOT-analysis, describe the organizational structure and marketing plan, identify the price strategy and the target clients, and evaluate the level of competition.
