Legalistic style commonly executes law implementation through applying diverse illustrations and arresting people exhibiting misconduct. This style requires aggressive actions by enforcement personnel in handling criminal activities (Siegel, 2009). Service style stresses that the significance of policing rests on serving community wants. Officers thus serve a society as helpers than as military while fighting criminal incidences. Community policing stresses that enforcement officers network and cooperate with region residents. This facilitates the process of attaining community wants. This style calls for well-designed frameworks of incorporating community involvement in police activities. Further, it requires the involvement of social services in similar undertakings (Schmalleger, 2003). These often occur with the intention of attaining solutions to local predicaments.
Policing Style and Functioning of the Criminal Justice System
It is notable that the appropriate operations in the justice system follow certain conventions. The enforcement officers utilizing diverse policing style are instrumental in attaining justice system.
