Introduction
This purpose of the paper is a summation of the information in the article “How to Identify Predatory Journals in a search”. Working with nursing journals is an essential part of nursing practice. Predatory journals often appear among these documents and need to be identified in a timely manner. The authors suggest effective methods for working with sources and ways to identify reliable and unreliable information. These tips will be extremely useful for my future practice.

The article under analysis elaborates on the problem of the proliferation of predatory publications among the medical literature. The number of these kinds of articles has greatly increased over the past 10-15 years (Xia, 2021). The paper cites statistical information according to which more than 60 percent of the publications contained linguistic errors and more than 30 percent had inaccuracies in methodology (Oermann et al., 2022). In the next section of the paper, the authors provide basic tips for nurses to interact with Internet sources when searching for scientific data. The author states that “although Google Scholar includes journal articles from legitimate publishers…, it may also include articles from predatory journals” (Oermann et al., 2022). The basic criteria for a reliable scientific source, and also lists the most reliable services for working with valid dataFetters, 2019). The author notes that “It is important to continue the search in well-established and reputable bibliographic databases such as MEDLINE… or CINAHL” (Oermann et al., 2022). The article discusses the main reasons why these sites are more reliable and should always be used in addition to Google’s services.

Studying this article is quite a rewarding experience for every medical professional. The authors provide a clear and understandable algorithm on how to work with scientific sources, the reliability of which has a direct impact on the quality of professional activities. Of the recommended services, I did not know more than half of them and now I will actively include them in my scientific activities and the theoretical frameworks. Their main common feature is the ability to meet the standards of publishing and objectivity. Moreover, I believe that interacting with properly constructed articles allows students to have a reliable standard of academic performance. By constantly relying solely on reliable sources, the medical professional guarantees a higher level of patient care. The results of nurses’ and doctors’ actions will be more scientifically valid.
Conclusion
Thus, by relying on methodologically correct papers, medics themselves will strive for the most competent research activity possible. This article is a set of rules for dealing with scholarly sources in a medical setting. The authors lead readers to the idea that referring to well-known Google services are not sufficient to find valid and reliable information. The paper provides a list of sites and services that rigorously certify published articles and can guarantee a higher quality of research information. Moreover, the article advises all nurses to undergo mandatory library counseling to ensure that the source meets the right academic requirements.
