Firstly, reality solely implies the actual state in which all things, living, and non-living exist. Relative to the life and existence of human beings, reality would then signify the actual way in which a person lives. The way of life revolves around a person’s values, mannerisms, and thought processes. For these aspects to be referred to as ultimate, they need to have evolved from simple traits into fully-fledged personalities and behaviors. At this point, the ultimate reality would herein be defined as the progressive concept in which environmental factors significantly influence an individual’s foremost values, mannerisms, and thought processes. Within this context, a person’s personality is a reflection of the type of setting in which they dominate. Subsequently, this can boil down to details such as the religion to which an individual subscribes.

The second viewpoint is that the universe exists as a combination of energy, matter, and space. Relative to scientific knowledge, the universe has been and is expanding in terms of its elements and magnitude (Heacox, 2015). This is due to the formation of new components as a result of a combination of energy and matter in space. The earth is an example of new entities formed as the universe expands. All the formed elements are similar and connected since they are formed from the same materials and energy. If life on earth was formed through evolution, the nature of the universe can then be deduced as a constituency of beings connected in terms of space and time.

Furthermore, the concept of a human being can be explained from a biological outlook and religious perspective. Relative to biology, a human is a being attached to the species Homo sapiens with superior thought processes and senses such as sight, smell, hearing, taste, and touch (May 2015). The senses are fueled by the various parts, systems, and organs of the body that are connected and function as one. From a biological standpoint, the centerpiece of existence is herein the normal functioning of all the systems and organs of the body (May 2015). Relative to religion, a human being is a creation of God made in His image and resemblance. Unlike the concept of biology, in religion, the existence of a human being is not through physical conception but rather the inalienable breath of life. A human being is made up of the body, the soul, and the spirit. The soul is the centerpiece of life and without it, a human being cannot exist.

In addition, knowledge generally refers to the state in which one is aware of the available information. Knowledge as a domain diverges into academic know-how, moral consciousness, and spiritual reverence (Tapia, 2018). Relative to academic know-how, one is considered to be knowledgeable if he or she has a grasp of the standard academic proficiency such as writing and reading. The extent to which one is knowledgeable depends on their mastery in a given discipline or the number or rank of the relevant accolades. Moral consciousness is the ability for one to distinguish between the wrong and the right concerning society’s values and expectations. This is the basic form of knowledge that is taught right from childhood to adulthood. Lastly, spiritual reverence refers to a person’s attachment to a certain religion. In Christianity and Islam, the knowledge of the existence of God and Allah is taught using the Bible and the Quran respectively.

Another viewpoint is that ethics are a set of principles that dictate how a person ought to behave in society or a given field of life. The moral conscience, religion, and the constitution are my major basis of ethics. The moral conscience is the feeling of something being right or wrong and causes an inner conviction for doing a certain action. In addition, the distinction between what is wrong and what is right can be based on my ecclesiastical teachings of what is wrong and what is right. The last basis is the constitution which has a code of ethics that governs operations in various fields.

Lastly, the purpose of my existence is based on religion and self-actualization. Relative to religion, I’m a creation of God, created in His resemblance to glorify Him. In addition, I play a role in procreation to raise generations that will fill the earth. Relative to self-actualization, the purpose of my existence is to find and accomplish a divine purpose in life such as helping humanity and bringing change in the world in various sectors and systems.
