Background
Recruitment is the process of identifying and enticing qualified candidates to work for a firm. It is a set of actions designed to locate and attract job applicants with the motivation, talents, skills, and knowledge required to fill recognized gaps in a work environment (Manuaba & Darma, 2021). A recruiting strategy is a plan of action for discovering the best applicants for available opportunities at an institution. It includes who, where, and the exact modalities to be applied in recruitment (Villeda1 & McCamey, 2019). The following strategy will be applied to recruit individuals for the listed positions.
Inbound Customer Service Representative
The target market for this role includes recent college graduates who majored in business or communication. The sources that will be used to recruit the candidates include social media sites and platforms such as Twitter and Facebook. Social recruitment allows job advertisements to be shared with whole networks and fosters two-way interactions. Even if the persons contacted are not interested in the position, they may know someone who desires to fill it.
Nurse
The target market for this position includes recent nursing college graduates and skilled licensed nurse practitioners. The recruitment process will utilize the following sources: LinkedIn and newspaper advertisements. Advertising through publications allows employers to access candidates who are familiar with the local community and the firm (Villeda & McCamey, 2019). Nurse practitioners who are conversant with the organization and the population it serves are highly valuable.
VP Information Technology
The target market for this position is graduates with master’s degrees in information systems, computer science, or computer engineering. Candidates will be recruited through professional social platforms such as LinkedIn and television advertisements. The objective is to reach a wide audience and thus gain access to a large pool of qualified individuals who are likely to be interested in the advertised position.
