The objective of multidisciplinary human services research is to enhance the lives of service users by identifying and addressing issues. Due to this process, individuals, families, and communities gain from social and service technologies such as methodologies, models, and theories (Fichtenberg et al., 2020). In terms of relevance, it enables communities and people to operate more efficiently. Health and Human Services are dependable because they are a domestic agency dedicated to promoting and protecting the community’s health. Only Americans have easier access to services and assistance than the rest of the world.
Mental Health
Mental health is described as the ability to enjoy life while balancing everyday activities and attempts to enhance one’s mental health. Arango et al. (2018) define well-being as the capacity to recognize one’s capabilities, handle life’s concerns, contribute to one’s community, and work successfully. Similarly, cultural differences, individual judgments, and conflicting professional ideas affect mental health. Mental health is significant in the majority of instances since it impacts the majority of individuals. The sources of information about mental health are trustworthy in educating individuals about what mental health is and how to go with it. Apps like Headspace are simple to use and significantly impact mental health.
Youth and Children’s Services
Family services assist families in resolving conflicts that might result in their children being harmed or ignored for fundamental human needs such as food and shelter (Filippelli et al., 2017). The Children and Youth Service Agency may put abused or neglected adolescents in foster homes or childcare facilities. From birth to the age of 18, a child is eligible for services. In terms of relevance, the resources provided are educational and may be utilized to gather data on child services. Additionally, the sources are reputable and hence dependable. The website and articles are simple to navigate and do not need particular abilities.
As a Case Manager in a Local Women’s Shelter
In Adrienne’s case, firstly, I would use a cellphone to call her husband and confirm the allegations, and if there is no response, I would call the police and report the case. For her two children who missed school for two weeks, I would connect them to the internet to catch up on schoolwork through their school login page. Adrienne would also reach out to his friends and family with whom she is in connection through video conferencing apps like Skype and Zoom.
As a Middle-School Guidance Counselor
As a school counselor, I would begin by visiting the website and ascertain the rumor about Camille. I would then report the webpage for it to be brought down if the allegations are true. Additionally, I would report the matter to the relevant authorities through a phone call. I would create a group chat, and any student that feels that they need counseling services would readily join in through a link. Lastly, I would update the progress on the school website to cool down the students.
As a Daycare Worker
I would make a phone call for the mother and converse with her. During the call, I will recommend some app suggestions, including care. com, Zum, and urban sitter. I would later download materials from the internet that showcase how to take care of an HIV-positive child in nutrition and upbringing. I would also allow the child to talk to her mother through a phone call to enable the newcomer to settle in.
As a Single Parent
Multitasking as a single parent with a business can be difficult. Spending quality time with kids is every parent’s dream; hence I would adopt the video conferencing method to keep in touch with my kid. I will also play movies for my son from Netflix that show the history of Hitler and the world wars. In order to keep track of my son’s behavior, an app would come in handy, including thumster and behavior tacker.
As a 14-Year-old
Being a 14-year-old, I would write to my girlfriend via text message and tell her about my plan to run away and how the fight between my parents affected me. I would then call the police and inform them of the ongoing fight between my parents. I will then search the internet for materials that advise kids like me on what to do when a fight erupts between parents.
