Tenzing Natural Energy
Tenzing is a purportedly natural plant-based non-GMO energy drink. The company was started by a Dutch businessman who was a former Redbull marketing executive. It is marketed as a recipe inspired by the brew of Himalayan climbers with a triple hit of natural caffeine, vitamin C, and electrolytes. All the ingredients come from ethically friendly sustainable sources, and five percent of profits are contributed to environmental projects. It is vegan, gluten-free, and supposedly the world’s first carbon-negative energy drink. Several varieties of Tenzing are sold: “original recipe”, “raspberry & yuzu”, “blackberry & acai”, and “pineapple & passionfruit”.
Distribution
The official Tenzing website is available in three countries: the UK, the US, and the Netherlands. It can be ordered and shipped directly through the website in the UK and Netherlands. In the US, it is available as a retailer on Amazon. Customers can make a one-time purchase or subscribe for monthly delivery. It is also available in grocery stores, fitness stores, and organic shops such as Whole Foods and Planet Organic since it markets itself as vegan and eco-friendly. Since it is available in supermarket chains with a large market share, such as Tesco and Walmart, it would be fair to say that Tenzing has high availability in US and UK markets.
Price evaluation
The drink is packaged in 8.4 fluid ounce cans and sold in packs of four and twenty-four.
