Critical Theory and its emergence
The Critical Theory was developed in the early 1930s by a collection of scholars and German scientists (Morelock 15). The concept was associated with Carl Marx’s Marxism theory as it borrowed a lot of its guiding principles and cannon concepts from the Marxism theory. Most of the Theory’s development took place in the University of Frankfurt, German. The developer of the concept stipulated the concept’s mandate of criticizing the society in matters relating to power and leadership.
Major influences of the Theory
Criticism theory addressed the major societal influences of the capitalistic idea: a western and American concept of the vast economy (Morelock 19). In this case, it touched on the Marxist conflicts theory that featured the struggle between the haves and the have nots. On the other hand, the concept became son influential in the post-world war I era against criticizing truths inhabited in power and the ruling class. The social inequality of the capitalist west and the autocracy of the fascist era were the major criticized ideas.

The Theory has featured the world of literature in Garrick’s article concerning the evolution of the Theory in society and its impact on idealism and materialism (Hickman & Mclyntyre 163). The Journal’ fugitive’ featured the concept’s relevance towards its application in the world of literature as it addressed a collection of poems. Additionally, the social slavery of the southern American confederate states and the Jim Craw laws were analyzed based on Theory (Hickman & Mclyntyre 13). The idea criticized social justice in the era.

Globally, the black American equality struggle was a social affair in which several scholars applied the Theory to mock and criticize the southern decision (Bennet & Royle 27). In the 1950s and 1960s, women’s industrial struggle for equality in employment saw the critical Theory famously applied in the vast society. Additionally, as corporate capitalism picked, the society criticism concept was used in defining the Marxism conflicts theory (Bennet & Royle 174). Finally, the LBTQ is another struggle of gender criticism that instigated the global society on the debate about individuality and decision making on choice of gender.

The confederate states’ war against the North concerning slavery and the 13th, 14th, and 15th amendment saw critics’ Theory as designed by the Frankfurt University theorists being applied against the South in the civil war (Hickman & Mclyntyre 70). Application of the West and Asia’s political ideas, including Russia, arouse criticism against the USA’s political interests in Asia and Russia. Moreover, the cold war’s exchange between America and Russia induced a political feud that ignited the application of criticism theory. Finally, the Russian, German, and Japanese states’ criticism concept are widely applied to America’s into World War 2.
Cultural Events Associated with the Criticism Theory
European supremacy reigned in the era of Martin Luther King (Bennet & Royle 278 ). This ignited the rise of criticism of the white’s superiority against African American’s social equality demand. Additionally, the constitutional amendment, 13th to 15th reforms, encourage the criticism of the southern American slavery against black’s customs by separating boy children from their parents (Bennet & Royle 140). Finally, the concept rebukes the Jews’ deaths by Hitler’s decision against their culture and religion.
