#NeverUseTheInternetAgain is a promotional campaign that aims to reduce the regular negative impact of social media on a person’s psychological well-being. NeverUseTheInternetAgain is an organization concerned about the overwhelming influence of social media on the life of modern society, from adults to young children. Those interested in how to reduce the number of social networks in their lives, tired of the excess of notifications and simply worried about the future of their children are invited to our conference.

#BreakTheChain is our first big public event to suggest strategies to quit social media. The main goal is to prepare for fundraising for the launch of the application of the same name, which will regulate the consumption of information with the permission of the user. The main task of the application, as well as of the entire conference, is to create an alternative to social media and return the pleasure to a person from a normal life. By gathering as many people as possible, it will be possible to spread the influence of the project and make its presence visible in the media it opposes.

The conference is a lecture hall where one can listen to professional speakers delivering their message in an exciting format. The Social Media Security Organization and similar non-profit organizations will participate in the creation of the conference, offering their professional views on the situation. Moreover, in the format of the conference, a large-scale series of psychological trainings is offered in which everyone can participate. The conference is aimed not only at adults and adolescents, but also at children – a separate playroom will be organized for the little ones. The dissemination of information about this event allows the conference participant to receive special promotional material as a reward – a badge, a fridge magnet and a T-shirt with the hashtag “#NeverUseTheInternetAgain”.
