The Patient-Oriented Model of Medical Care Organization

The creation of a new model of a medical organization providing primary health care is a set of measures aimed at respecting the priority of the patient’s interests, organizing the provision of medical care to the patient, taking into account the rational use of his time. Moreover, an important part of the provision of medical care is to ensure the comfort of the conditions for the provision of medical services, increase satisfaction with the level of services provided, reduce the burden on medical personnel by increasing the efficiency of the medical organization.

Lean manufacturing is a management concept based on eliminating all types of losses by forming a continuous flow of value creation covering all organization processes and their continuous improvement through personnel involvement. Personnel must be trained in conflict-free behavior, adhere to moral and ethical norms and rules in the course of professional activity, comply with the requirements and norms of legislation in the field of personal data protection obtained during the performance of work duties. The most important task of a medical organization providing primary health care is to reduce the level of morbidity and mortality among the attached population by implementing measures for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases.

In conclusion, the patient-oriented model of medical care organization to the population is based on the concept of predictive, preventive, and personalized medicine. Increasing customer orientation in the organization of the workflow, attentive attitude of the staff, assessment of the quality of services provided, taking into account patient satisfaction is some of the key provisions of the patient-oriented model. Thus, for a successful transition to a national patient-oriented healthcare system, the concept of an organizational model based on close interaction and cooperation of state bodies, institutions and organizations of state, municipal and private healthcare systems is necessary.
