The questions discussed at each stage of the interview will be described below.
- Skills Test: The selected candidates must take an online test that aims to assess their professional skills. The test will consist of two parts. The first part requires choosing the answer to the question. The second part requires writing an extended response to the question about the project manager’s actions in a specific situation. To pass the test, candidates need to complete at least 90% of the tasks correctly. This requirement is relatively high since the company is looking ahead of a large department.
- Personality test: this test will be aimed at demonstrating the skills of communication with the staff. Have you taken advanced training and education courses? What are your main personal and professional skills that you could identify and why?
- Questions from the company’s CEO: How many places of work have you left and for what reasons? What project manager skills do you have, and what situations have they been demonstrated in your previous job? Are you ready to perform a large number of tasks, make quick decisions in a reduced amount of time, and show your initiative in the workplace?
Performance Appraisal
To assess the candidates’ work effectiveness, they must pass an additional test that will follow the interview block, personal qualities test, and skills test. The potential project manager needs to show their skills and knowledge in project management, managing a group of people responsible for the implementation of this project, and showing the ability to evaluate the result of their work and the entire team. They also need to prove themselves in the ability to set goals for future projects.
