Introduction
Today, people like to use decision tree flow charts for different reasons. In this paper, attention will be paid to developing an action plan and applying a decision tree example offered by Cravit (2023) to identify and accept choices easily. The main idea of the chosen decision tree (see image below) is to initiate a working process, give answers to certain questions about the size of action steps, motivation, and rules, and ensure the correct steps can be taken. The peculiar feature of this infographic is the hints between the lines so that a person can understand what activity must be taken and in which order.
Main Body
In healthcare organizations, employees are free to apply different methods to organize their work and find the most effective ways to achieve the desired goals. This decision tree can be used in a staffing scenario when a healthcare provider has to develop a care plan for a female patient with cancer and involve several specialists from different fields. This disease is very serious, and it affects the patient and her family in different ways. The husband is concerned about the effectiveness of chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery, while the client wants to predict all expenses. Her parents are in emotional distress because of their family history and the recent death of their relative. All involved individuals need more information and a good action plan.
Conclusion
A leader of a treatment team must start communicating with the patient, her family, a surgeon, a radiation therapist, and other care providers. Sometimes, it is hard to understand how to begin, and the offered decision tree flow chart is a unique opportunity to pose the necessary questions and find the answers. The infographics show how to deal with procrastination and continue working under the 5-minute rule for motivation. In health care, this cognitive behavioral technique is commonly used to identify goals. Decision-three infographics are simple but helpful tools for organizing care and supporting patients.
