Many people would agree that musicals are a wonderful way to spend their free time, and enjoy a relaxing atmosphere full of joy and bright emotions. Not long ago I had a chance to feel the truthfulness of the above-mentioned saying as I to visited “Pippin” musical by the Miami Dade College Wolfson Opera Ensemble on the 21 of April at seven p.m. The musical impressed me by its great costumes, actor performance and incredible mood. Generally, I would admit that the musical’s directors Amy Ibberson and Dr, Alan Ngim along with its choreographer Lee Pugh III made a great job on this project.
Speaking about the main details concerning this musical, it should be mentioned that it is based on music and lyrics written by Stephen Schwartz. The story plot of “Pippin” is adapted from the book by Roger O. Hirson. The musical’s great success is also a result of excellent work by its directors Amy Ibberson and Dr, Alan Ngim along with the choreographer Lee Pugh III. All of the above-mentioned points make their contribution to making “Pippin” something wonderful and extraordinary in its great mood and the joy it brings to the audience.
