Currently, the most forging threat that is potentially harmful to Americans and the whole world is COVID-19. 2020 Democratic Party Platform considered the pandemic influence one of the nation’s most dangerous threats (Ember & Stevens, 2020). Trumps’ policy in preventing the spreading of the virus and adjusting the healthcare system to provide timely medical help in an extreme situation has failed (Ember & Stevens, 2020). As a result, Democrats believe that America should never be left vulnerable to such problems as a global pandemic again (Ember & Stevens, 2020). As a result, the ruling party protects the citizens through strengthening the healthcare system and dealing with the economic crisis.
Considering the current pandemic situation, it is essential to develop the infrastructure of the country and its essential systems. The ecological infrastructure is required to be carefully planned and improved. Joe Biden proposes expanding funding and programs focused on environmental developments (Ember & Stevens, 2020). As a result, the industrial infrastructure also will be reorganized. The more ecological means of production can be applied to develop many important for the national systems.
Many businesses have been significantly damaged by the lockdowns and other limitations caused by the pandemic. Some of the vast corporations in America are at the significant risk of going bankrupt (Ember & Stevens, 2020). The government is responsible for supporting the businesses which are in danger. Probably, it would be rational to offer lower insurance contributions. Another way how the government can help the companies is the taxes payments postponement. Moreover, financial support or additional funding should also be planned for the US corporations, which cannot overcome the pandemic implications.
