Consequently, it is essential to discuss the primary framework of achieving SDGs before adjusting the policies according to specific regions. Mazzucato et al. (2019) examine six transformations that could potentially improve the quality of life in social, environmental, and economic aspects. Namely, the authors emphasize education, healthcare, energy decarbonization, sustainable food, green cities, and the digital revolution (Mazzucato et al., 2019). All mentioned areas are interconnected and have a notable impact on health-related issues. Although it might be challenging for some countries to implement some of the transformations due to political and economic peculiarities, it is essential to find sustainable alternatives (Brandli et al., 2018). For instance, nations with immense population sizes, including China and India, have struggled with the issue of sustainable food and relatively low economic development over the 20th century (Mazzucato et al., 2019). In turn, it significantly affected the quality of the provided healthcare services and had a notable impact on facilities and nurses. Mazzucato et al. (2019) propose that sustainable land use and fishing methods might be effective alternatives to traditional agriculture. This approach would allow modernizing the existing technologies and enhancing access to sustainable food globally (Mazzucato et al., 2019). Nevertheless, the authors acknowledge that this transformation would be impossible without collaboration between countries and institutions (Mazzucato et al., 2019). Mazzucato et al. (2019, p. 810) state, “strategies should be designed and implemented by ministries of agriculture and forestry, environment, water and natural resource, fisheries and marine resources, and health.” As a result, it is essential to follow the basic rules of SDGs implementation and establish communication and collaboration between counties and formal institutions to improve the overall quality of life globally.
