Billing Specialists in Healthcare

Billing specialists play a considerable role in healthcare organizations, yet various work environments may affect such professionals in different ways. Billing specialists working in hospitals tend to have more workload and need to communicate to a larger number of people on a daily basis. Hospitals are places where many individuals work together and have to interact; therefore, extroverted billing specialists would be more comfortable working at hospitals (Green, 2018). At the same time, introverted billing specialists would find working at a physician’s office more pleasant since it implies fewer interactions with other people. Specifically, physicians often become the only individual with whom billing specialists will need to have daily face-to-face interactions. Personally, I consider myself an extrovert because I enjoy spending time with other people. Therefore, I would prefer to work in a hospital setting, moreover, being a part of a large organization can provide me with invaluable professional experience.
