Education is the most important aspect of human life. It helps to shape the life and future of a person. Education as rightly said is both the producer and also the result of various discourses. Institutions are created only to discriminate between different spheres of education and different types of institutions teach different aspects.
It is a really interesting point that education is the only one thing in the world which we can not choose as we wish. If a person goes to a grocery store to buy some thing he will choose between all the things and pay the money. But the education system is different. The students can choose a stream but generally they are not given the liberty to choose the syllabus. This is also beneficial in some ways. As a learner, there are a lot of opportunities open for a person, as he or she enlists in a class (Pojman 2003).
In an educational institute there are basically two major stock holders in corporate terms, the teachers and the students (another important aspect comes only in the cases of schools where minors are being taught, here the parents or the guardians assume a larger role than the student). Here all of them have to involve in the thought process that will ultimately decide the discourses that the educational institute should run along only to improve the capabilities of the students. Education is ultimately treated as a weapon, which the students will use in the later life for their survival (Armstrong 2007).
Every educational discourse need to have a specific vision statement in itself along with a mission statement. These two aspects will have a huge impact on the discourse. They will also help to decide the future course for any one who is going through any discourse. Every educational discourse has its own good sides along with its limitations. The proper way to handle this aspect is to choose the educational discourse on which the student has interest and it will help the student to connect with the studies. This will also be very productive for his career. As the student is going with one of his preferred subjects, he will walk the extra mile for learning. This might prove useful for the discourse too (Armstrong 2007).
Educational discourses are one of the most neglected aspects of recent researches. There are no substantial researches which directly deal with the subject. In recent times in many parts of the World, education has been evolved as s successful industry. The survival of the industry mainly depends on the different types of educational discourses and ultimately they provide really good education in many cases.
In the conclusion we can say that educational discourses mainly depend on a complex relationship between the teacher, student and the subjects. The processes of learning are also included in the aspect. In recent times there are different models of teaching are coming up in recent times. These will surely help the student community for further development in educational aspects (Fuller 2006). There is a vast range that comes with the terms educational discourses. It can be applied for a child studying in a kindergarten or to a man doing some professional courses. The best way to ensure proper study channel and good educational discourse is to be decided by the student according to his or her interest (Armstrong 2007).
