Student lounge is a place where students can hang out in their free time between classes and often serves as the location for various students’ meetings, societies and clubs. Lounge is equipped with Internet, digital television, various play board games, table football, and tennis. Students can eat their lunch and talk with their friends. The majority of student lounges have cuisine where various dishes are prepared for students. It has comfortable sofas and chairs where they can have their lunch. Therefore, student lounge definitely provides students with friendly and cozy atmosphere and various types of activities needed for their rest after and between classes.
Students have positive impression from student lounge
Students have very difficult classes where they have exhausting lectures, seminars and other in-class activities. That is why they feel a little bit tired after classes and even sometimes wait for the brake with a great patience. Student lounge is a place where they have so-needed rest after and between classes. Students do not visit student lounge alone but always with their friends who feel the same about it. Here they have lunch, discuss various topics ranging from themes not tied with classes such as vacations, after-class activities to the issues firmly tied with their study. Sometimes they revise some material in order to be successful on seminar. Besides this, students have a possibility to watch interesting educational and entertainment programs and have tasty lunch prepared by always friendly lounge’s staff. Playing table games gives students certain tonus and good mood to continue their study. As well students like watching interesting educational and entertainment programs. For freshmen student lounge is a good place to get acquainted and communicate with each other in informal settings which is sometimes impossible during classes. Here students may appoint meetings and talk about organization of parties and various university events like competitions and performances. Thus, students have positive impression from student lounge.
Student lounge’s positive aspects far outweigh negative
Student lounge is often considered to be a place where student thoughtlessly spend their free time instead of studying. In fact it is not true. Though students have a brake from classes they have a possibility to restore the energy needed for learning. Another problem refers to the fact that due to lounge’s advantages too many students visit it every hour. This of course is sometimes troubling when all places are occupied and other students should go somewhere else but more often it is easy to find free places. Thus, negative facets of student lounge are difficult to find because they are few and its positive aspects far outweigh negativity.
